Welcome to CeylonZ Trading. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (ceylonz.com) and all purchases made through our platform. By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


1. Use of the Website

    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.
    • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering, placing orders, or communicating with us.
    • You agree not to use the website for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

2. Product Information & Pricing

    1. We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing, but minor variations may occur.
    2. All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise mentioned.
    3. Prices, offers, and discount codes may change without prior notice.
    4. Product availability is subject to stock levels and supplier conditions.

3. Orders & Payments

  1. When placing an order, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products.
  2. We reserve the right to cancel or reject any order due to:
  • Out-of-stock items
  • Pricing or display errors
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity
  1. Accepted Payment Methods
    • Bank Deposit / Bank Transfer
    • Card Payments (Visa/Mastercard) via Secure Payment Gateway
  2. Bank Transfer Verification
    • Customers must use their Order ID as the payment reference number when making the bank deposit/transfer.
    • After payment, customers must send payment proof via WhatsApp to +94763839634.
    • Orders will only be processed after payment is successfully verified.
  3. Card Payment Security.
    • All card payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment gateways.
    • CeylonZ Trading does not store or access full card details.
  4. An order is considered confirmed only after payment has been fully approved.

4. Shipping & Delivery

a. Delivery timelines displayed on the website are approximate and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or holidays.
b. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or incorrect/shipping addresses provided by the customer.
c. Delivery fees (if applicable) will be shown at checkout. Free shipping may apply for eligible orders.


5. Returns & Refunds Policy

5.1 General Return Requirements

To qualify for any return:

  • The product must be unused
  • In original packaging
  • With all tags, accessories, and manuals included
  • A return request must be made within the allowed period mentioned on the Return Policy page.

5.2 When the Issue Is from CeylonZ Trading (Our Fault)

Examples:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Damaged item received
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Missing items

In these cases:

  • Full refund will be issued (product price + taxes).
  • Return shipping cost will be paid by us.
  • If a replacement is required, we will arrange it at no additional cost.

5.3 When the Issue Is from the Customer (Customer Fault)

Examples:

  • Customer ordered the wrong item
  • Customer changed their mind
  • Customer does not like the item
  • Customer provides incorrect delivery address
  • Customer damages or misuses the item

In these cases:

  • Refund amount will be after deductions.
  • Deductions may include:
    • Payment gateway charges (for card payments)
    • Bank transfer fees (if applicable)
    • Return shipping cost, payable by the customer
  • If the product is missing accessories, is damaged, or has been used, additional deductions may apply.

5.4 Refund Method & Timeframe

Refunds will only be processed after the returned item is received, inspected, and approved by our team.
If the returned product does not meet our return conditions, the refund may be rejected or adjusted.

Once the return is approved:

  • Card Payment Refunds:
    Refunds will be returned to the same card used for payment.
    If the return reason is customer-fault, payment gateway charges will be deducted.

  • Bank Transfer Refunds:
    Refunds will be sent to the customer’s bank account.
    If the return reason is customer-fault, bank transfer fees may be deducted.

Refund processing time is 5–10 working days after approval, depending on the bank or payment gateway.


5.5 Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned due to hygiene or safety reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Opened personal care items
  • Food items
  • Customized or special-order products
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable”

6. Intellectual Property

All content on ceylonz.com, including text, images, logos, design, and graphics, is the property of CeylonZ Trading or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or modify any content without written permission.


7. Limitation of Liability

a. CeylonZ Trading will not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Delays caused by courier services
  • Losses due to misuse of products
  • Business or financial losses

b. Our maximum liability is limited to the total value of the order placed.


8. Modifications to the Terms

We may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of our website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
